Couple and Family Therapist 🌈

I graduated from Koç University with a bachelors in psychology. I completed my clinical internship at the Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine, Psychiatry Clinic. I finished my master's degree with honors in Couple and Family Therapy at the School of Public Health, University of Maryland College Park, where I studied on a merit scholarship. During this time, I focused on therapy work with LGBTQIA+ couples and adolescents. In 2024, I completed the 3-year Virginia Satir Transformational Systemic Family Therapy training provided by AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists).Over the years, I have volunteered with non-governmental organizations in areas such as trauma recovery in crisis and disaster situations, disability, children's rights, and family empowerment. Currently, I serve as an executive board member at the YÖRET Foundation, focusing on children's rights advocacy and empowering mental health professionals in the field.Currently in my practice, I adopt a systemic therapy perspective. Although my therapeutic orientation is eclectic, I primarily use the Gottman method with couples, the Satir model with families, and Narrative Therapy in individual sessions.I offer in-person and online therapy services to individuals, adolescents, couples, and families. I work with conditions including: relationship problems, sexual disorders, anxiety, adjustment issues during transitional periods, separation, psychological empowerment, eating disorders, positive parenting, and peaceful communication.
